What this is
skim. turns a topic or a file into a lesson built around you, then tests you on it. That's the whole product. It's a learning aid, not a teacher, tutor, or source of professional advice.
Pay what you want
skim. is pay-what-you-want. You decide what a lesson was worth — including nothing. Optional payments (and the one-off download bundle) are voluntary and non-refundable, since you've already received the thing you paid for.
On accuracy
Lessons are generated by AI. We work to keep them sharp, but we can't guarantee everything is correct, complete, or current. Don't rely on skim. for anything where being wrong has real consequences — verify before you act on it.
Your content is yours
Whatever you bring — topics, files, notes — stays yours. We only use it to build your lesson and run the features you asked for. We don't claim ownership and we don't train models on it.
Fair use
Don't upload material you don't have the right to use, and don't abuse the service or its rate limits. We may pause access that's clearly automated or harmful.
Changes
skim. is evolving. These terms may change as it does. Continued use means you're good with the current version.
